The Little Kite

A dream held, ever so close
In a heart, with tight shut doors
Afraid was I, to say it out
Attempt a step forward, whilst in doubt

Would it be wrong, to make a wish
Were they just musings, to go in a swish
How fair is it, to live for self
Ain't it more sense, to hide in a shelf

But still did fancy, a life for me
Happiness and tears, a choice to be
Where the air I breathe, would be mine
Maybe circles and loops, thoughts on line

Across the seas, did my reverie fly
On my terms to live, and one day die
Deep within I held this joy
Yet I remained, fate's toy

Slowly seeped light, could feel the air
Unaware to self, little did dare
Stretched my hand, tried to touch
Slight bliss, meant so much

For once I smiled, cause it felt nice
I could soar, even with the ties
Head held high, sun shining bright
To actually live, felt so right

Don't want to lose, what I hold
Refuse though I, dreams to be sold
A life for me, is what I seek
And soon shall the sea, meet the mountain's peek.

Tower of Silence

Lost in a tower of gloom, I stand
Can see a far off view, but none at hand
A spark does arise, quick to dim
With fleeing breath, I sing a hymn

Hands stretched ahead, I touch the light
Within the second blink, I scream of fright
Words unsaid, your voice I hear
In my heart though, ignites a fear

Eyes seem to lose, a flame once held
Blunt turns the sword, angel weld
Death - destruction, all around
Mist of darkness - tear, I surround

Clouds grow heavy, sun is lost
The cold winds howl, flowers of frost
Long have I waited, for the dawn of spring
As I stand gazing, my hand - the ring

Ever So Deep...

The sun may set, the winter must
Darkness prevail, strength turns to dust
Hearts do bleed, never to sing
Yet does survive, the shine on the ring

A hundred tales, promises made
Holds close to thee, an unstained spade
Words left unsaid, tears do flow
But in our hearts, faith does glow

Tough are the times when the eyes don't see
When the known path, leads away from lee
Drizzle does the rain, hailstorms we feel
And the faintest trace of joy, farces a steal

Hold we must, for what we believe
Tremble though now, morrow relieve
The rising sun, never shall hide
Dawn arise, our dreams reside

Meant together, and we shall be
Smiles and blushes, life of glee
Every vow made, we will keep
Stronger grows our love, ever so deep

The Living Dead

A tiny bleed, ignored at sight
Nothing grave, its taken so light
Slow it flows, makes no noise
All the while, practice the perfect poise

Unaware of the moment, harm was done
Ignore the signs, would rather run
Forget we then, care to take
Instead a smile, we so well fake

Deeper grows, the cut that's made
The knife remains, though the shadow fade
Slowly inching closer still
And yet not making most of the kill

Seems so perverse, the joy it seeks
Pain forged in fire, blood it reeks
Never to stop , never to go
Your heart's your own, friend and foe

Eyes that once shone, summers spark
Now gleam winter, cold and dark
A shadow of what, once was I
Prayer whispered, as I will to die

Please Tell Me This...

A dream I dream, of something real
A word, not necessarily a deal
A promise to hold, and to give
Where for one another, we shall live

If the wind does sweep, off my feet
Shall you hold, else take a beat
Hold me tight, bring me back
Fight the world with no flack

When troubles fare, and I shed a tear
Would you be there, face my every fear
Though you could, would you hide
Else my knight be you, horse to ride

If the future bleak, darkness surround
Give me strength, your arms around
Discard the angst, will a kiss
Oh my love, please tell me this...

A Wish For Us...

Forever, with you in my sight
Together, we take our every flight
Your words, my lips do sing
Since, you slipped the ring

Every step, we now take
A life - ours, we shall make
To grow, in love and trust
To be true, a must

Verses of love, use might we
Still the eye, holds the key
Standing strong, friends we are
Lovers us, watch the star

Bound though, in love true
